This orange lamp shows the passenger airbag ON symbol. When it stays on, the front passenger airbag is activated and its control is in the "ON" position.
What to do:
- Do NOT fit a rearward-facing child seat on the front passenger seat, as there is a risk of serious injury.
Front passenger airbag(OFF)

This orange lamp shows the passenger airbag OFF symbol. When it stays on, the front passenger airbag is deactivated and its control is in the "OFF" position.
What to do:
- You can fit a rearward-facing child seat on the front passenger seat.
- Do not do so if the airbag warning lamp is on, as this means there is a fault with the airbags.
Dynamic stability control and anti-slip regulation (DSC)

This system uses two orange symbols. One stays on when the DSC/ASR system has been deactivated. The other flashes while the system is working and stays on if the system has a fault.
What to do:
If the deactivation symbol stays on:
- Press the button to reactivate the system.
- The DSC/ASR system also switches back on automatically when the van is started, and from around 30 mph (50 km/h).
If the DSC symbol flashes:
- No action is needed: the system is working because the van has lost grip or is leaving its line.
If the DSC symbol stays on:
- The DSC/ASR system has a fault, so visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Hill start assist

This orange lamp shows the hill start assist symbol. When it stays on with the Service lamp and the message "Anti roll-back system fault", the system has a fault.
What to do:
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Emergency brake malfunction (with electric parking brake)

This orange lamp shows the emergency braking symbol. When it stays on with the Service lamp and the message "Parking brake fault", emergency braking is not working as well as it should.
What to do:
- If automatic release is not available, release the parking brake manually.
- Otherwise, visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Active Lane Departure Warning System

This orange lamp shows the lane departure symbol. It stays on when the system has been deactivated automatically or placed on standby, and flashes when you are about to cross a broken lane marking without indicating. If it stays on together with the Service lamp, the system has a fault.
What to do:
If the lamp stays on by itself:
- No specific action is given: the system has been deactivated automatically or is on standby.
If the lamp flashes:
- The system steps in and corrects your line on the side where it has detected the lane marking.
If the lamp stays on together with the Service lamp:
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Overload indicator

This orange lamp shows the overload symbol. When it stays on by itself, the load in the van is more than the maximum authorised load. If it stays on with the Service lamp and a message, the overload indicator system has a fault.
What to do:
If the overload lamp stays on by itself:
- Reduce the load you are carrying in the van.
If the overload lamp stays on with the Service lamp and a message:
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
AdBlue® (with 1.6 BlueHDi Euro 6.1)

This orange lamp shows the AdBlue® symbol and applies to the 1.6 BlueHDi Euro 6.1 engine. It comes on with an audible signal and a message showing your remaining driving range. The lower the AdBlue® level, the more urgent the warning, until the engine can no longer be restarted.
What to do:
If the lamp stays on when you switch on the ignition and the range is between 1,500 and 370 miles (2,400 and 600 km):
- Top up the AdBlue® quickly, or visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the AdBlue® lamp flashes, the Service lamp stays on and the range is less than 375 miles (600 km):
- Top up the AdBlue® to avoid a breakdown, or visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the AdBlue® lamp flashes, the Service lamp stays on and the message says starting is prevented:
- The AdBlue® tank is empty and the regulatory engine immobiliser stops the engine restarting.
- To restart the engine, top up the AdBlue® with at least 5 litres, or contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
AdBlue® (with 1.5 BlueHDi Euro 6.2/ 6.3)

This orange lamp shows the AdBlue® symbol and applies to the 1.5 BlueHDi Euro 6.2/6.3 engine. It comes on with a message showing your remaining driving range, and the way it lights up changes as the AdBlue® level drops, until the engine can no longer be started.
What to do:
If the lamp comes on for around 30 seconds when you start the van and the range is between 1,500 and 500 miles (2,400 and 800 km):
If the lamp stays on when you switch on the ignition, with an audible signal, and the range is between 500 and 62 miles (800 and 100 km):
- Top up the AdBlue® promptly, or visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the lamp flashes with an audible signal and the range is less than 62 miles (100 km):
- Top up the AdBlue® so the engine is not prevented from starting, or visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the lamp flashes with an audible signal and the message says starting is prevented:
- The AdBlue® tank is empty and the legally required engine immobiliser stops the engine starting.
- To restart the engine, add at least 5 litres of AdBlue® to the tank, or contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
SCR emissions control system (BlueHDi)

This warning uses the AdBlue® lamp together with the Service lamp and the engine self-diagnosis lamp, with an audible signal and a message. It means a fault has been detected in the SCR emissions control system on BlueHDi engines. If the fault is confirmed, the engine immobiliser will eventually stop the engine restarting.
What to do:
If all three lamps stay on when you switch on the ignition:
- The alert clears by itself once exhaust emissions are back to normal levels.
If the AdBlue® lamp flashes with the other two lamps on and a message showing the driving range:
- Depending on the message, you may be able to drive up to 685 miles (1,100 km) before the engine immobiliser is triggered.
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop without delay so that starting is not prevented.
If the AdBlue® lamp flashes with the other two lamps on and the message says starting is prevented:
- The authorised driving limit has been exceeded and the engine immobiliser stops the engine restarting.
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop to get the engine started.
Service

This orange lamp shows the Service symbol. It comes on with a message when one or more faults are found that have no warning lamp of their own: briefly for minor faults, and steadily for major ones. On BlueHDi Diesel engines it can also come on with a service spanner symbol when the service is overdue.
What to do:
If the Service lamp comes on briefly with a message:
- Read the message in the instrument panel to find the cause.
- You can sort out some problems yourself, such as an open door or the start of particle filter saturation.
- For anything else, such as a fault with the tyre under-inflation detection system, visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the Service lamp stays on with a message:
- Read the message in the instrument panel to find the cause.
- Then visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
On BlueHDi Diesel engines, if the Service lamp stays on and the service spanner flashes then stays on:
- The service interval has been exceeded, so have the van serviced as soon as possible.
Rear foglamp

This orange lamp shows the rear foglamp symbol. When it stays on, the rear foglamp is switched on.
What to do:
- No action is needed: the lamp simply confirms that the rear foglamp is on.
If You're Not Sure
If you cannot tell which lamp is showing, or a lamp behaves differently from what is described here, read the message on the instrument panel and check your handbook. If you are still in doubt, stop somewhere safe and contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop for advice.
Orange lamps are your Partner's way of telling you something needs attention before it becomes a bigger problem. Deal with them promptly, keep an eye on the messages that come with them, and you will keep your van working as it should.
