Peugeot MPG and l/100 km by model
Official WLTP combined figures the calculator starts from. Where Peugeot gives a range, it uses the higher one.

How the fuel cost is worked out
Litres used are the distance times the consumption, divided by 100. The cost is those litres times your price per litre. WLTP is a lab figure, and city driving, short trips, cold weather, roof boxes and motorway speeds usually raise consumption.
Getting closer to your real MPG
Use the average on your trip computer instead of the WLTP figure. Or fill the tank to the brim, drive, fill it again, then divide the litres added by the km driven and multiply by 100.
Fuel cost questions
- How much fuel does a Peugeot 3008 Hybrid use? The 1.2 Hybrid 145 eDCS6 has an official WLTP combined figure of 5.5-5.6 l/100 km. Real use is often higher.
- How do I convert MPG to litres per 100 km? Divide 282.481 by the UK MPG figure. For example, 50 MPG is about 5.6 l/100 km.
- Why is my consumption higher than WLTP? WLTP is measured in a lab. Traffic, short trips, cold starts, extra weight and higher speeds all use more fuel.
- How do I work out the cost of a trip? Multiply the distance by the l/100 km figure, divide by 100, then multiply by the price per litre. A 250 km trip at 5.6 l/100 km uses 14.0 litres, which at an example £1.40 a litre is £19.60.
- What MPG does a Peugeot 208 get? The 208 1.2 PureTech 100 EAT8 has an official WLTP combined figure of 5.5 l/100 km, which is about 51.4 UK MPG. Real use is often lower.
