Depending on your version, this shows as a red seat belt reminder lamp. It comes on steadily or flashes, together with an audible signal that gets louder. It means a seat belt has not been fastened or has been unfastened.
What to do:
- Make sure every occupant fastens their seat belt.
Door open

This red lamp shows that something is open. It comes on steadily with a message telling you which opening is open, and above 6 mph (10 km/h) an audible signal sounds as well. Depending on your version, it means a door, the boot, the tailgate or the opening rear screen is still open.
What to do:
- Close whichever door or opening the message shows.
- If your van has a right-hand side-hinged door, bear in mind this lamp will not tell you when that door is open.
Electric parking brake

This red lamp relates to the electric parking brake. When it is lit steadily, the electric parking brake is applied. When it flashes, applying or releasing the brake is not working properly.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- Release the electric parking brake before you drive off.
If the lamp is flashing:
- Stop as soon as it is safe to do so and park on flat, level ground.
- With a manual gearbox, engage a gear. With an automatic gearbox or drive selector, select mode P.
- Switch off the ignition and contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Manual parking brake

This red lamp relates to the manual parking brake. When it is lit steadily, the parking brake is applied or has not been fully released.
What to do:
- Release the parking brake fully before you drive off.
Braking

This red braking lamp can come on for two different reasons. If the braking warning lamp comes on steadily on its own, the brake fluid level in the braking circuit has dropped significantly. If the braking lamp comes on steadily together with a second symbol, the electronic brake force distribution (EBFD) system is faulty.
What to do:
If the lamp shows a low brake fluid level:
- Stop the van as soon as it is safe to do so and switch off the ignition.
- Top up the brake fluid with fluid that meets the manufacturer's recommendations.
- If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the lamp shows an EBFD fault:
- Stop the van as soon as it is safe to do so and switch off the ignition.
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If You're Not Sure
If you are not sure what a red lamp means, look at any message on the screen and listen for an audible signal, as these help you tell a normal situation from a fault. When in doubt, stop somewhere safe, switch off the ignition and contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
