Peugeot 508 II Indicators: Green and Blue Warnings (2023-present)

Green and blue warning lights on the Peugeot 508 II (2023-present) explained: what each lamp means, how it lights up and what to do when you see it.

Green and blue lamps on your dashboard are mostly good news. Rather than warning you about a fault, they usually confirm that a system or function is switched on and working. Some can light up in more than one way, for example steady or flashing, and may come with a message on the screen or an audible signal.

This guide covers the Peugeot 508 II from 2023 onwards, based on the handbook edition for vehicles produced from 1 March 2023. Not every car will show every lamp listed here, as some depend on the version or equipment fitted to your vehicle.

If the lamp stays lit:

  • No action is needed. The lamp simply shows that the engine is in STOP mode.

If the lamp flashes for a short while:

  • For more information, see the Driving section of your handbook.

If the lamp goes off with a message and an audible signal:

If You're Not Sure

If you are not sure what a lamp is telling you, check whether it is steady or flashing and whether a message has appeared on the screen, then look up the relevant section of your handbook for that system. Remember that if a red or orange lamp comes on, there may be a fault that needs further investigation.

Green and blue lamps are there to keep you informed, so in most cases they simply confirm that a feature is doing its job. Knowing what each one means helps you spot quickly when something on your 508 needs your attention.
