A red warning light on your Peugeot 2008 means there may be a fault that needs further investigation, or something that needs your attention straight away. Some red lights also come on for a few seconds when you switch on the ignition and should go off as soon as the engine starts. That is normal.

This guide covers the second-generation Peugeot 2008 (2025-present), based on handbook edition ed05-25 for vehicles produced from 02/05/2025. Some lamps depend on the version or equipment of your car, so not every light here will appear on yours.
