Green and blue lamps on your dashboard are there to keep you informed. They show you that a system is working or that something you have switched on, such as your headlamps or indicators, is active. They are not warnings of a fault.

This guide covers the Peugeot Partner Tepee II and applies to vehicles built from 1 March 2017 onwards. Some of these lamps depend on the version or equipment fitted to your vehicle, so you may not see all of them.

ECO

ECO mode indicator

The ECO lamp relates to the Stop & Start system. When it stays on, Stop & Start has put the engine into STOP mode because the vehicle has stopped, for example at red lights, a stop sign or in a traffic jam. If it flashes for a few seconds and then goes off, either STOP mode is temporarily unavailable or START mode has been triggered automatically.

What to do:

If the lamp is on steadily:

  • Nothing is needed from you. As soon as you want to move off, the engine restarts automatically in START mode and the lamp goes off.

If the lamp flashes for a few seconds, then goes off:

  • Carry on driving as normal.
  • For more information, see the Stop & Start section of your handbook.

Left-hand direction indicator

Left turn signal indicator

This lamp shows an arrow pointing to the left. It flashes, together with a buzzer, when you signal a change of direction to the left using the lighting control stalk.

What to do:

  • To signal to the left, move the lighting control stalk down.

Right-hand direction indicator

Right turn signal indicator

This lamp shows an arrow pointing to the right. It flashes, together with a buzzer, when you signal a change of direction to the right using the lighting control stalk.

What to do:

  • To signal to the right, move the lighting control stalk up.

Front foglamps

Front fog lamp indicator

This lamp shows the front foglamp symbol. It stays on when you have switched the front foglamps on yourself.

What to do:

  • Remember that the front foglamps only work when the sidelamps or dipped beam headlamps are on.

Dipped beam headlamps / daytime running lamps

Dipped beam indicator

This lamp shows the dipped beam headlamp symbol. It stays on when the dipped beam headlamps or daytime running lamps have been switched on, either by you or automatically.

What to do:

  • To switch on the dipped beam headlamps yourself, turn the ring on the lighting control stalk to the second position.

Main beam headlamps

Blue main beam indicator

This lamp shows the main beam headlamp symbol. It stays on when you have pulled the lighting control stalk towards you to switch on the main beam headlamps.

What to do:

  • To go back to dipped beam headlamps, pull the lighting control stalk towards you again.
  • Switch back to dipped beam when you meet other traffic so you do not dazzle other road users.

If You're Not Sure

If a lamp comes on and you are not sure what it means, check it against the descriptions above and your vehicle's handbook. Green and blue lamps simply show that something is switched on or working, so there is no need to worry, but if anything else on the dashboard concerns you, stop somewhere safe and take a moment to check.

Once you know what each green and blue lamp on your Peugeot Partner Tepee II is telling you, it is easy to keep track of your lights, indicators and Stop & Start at a glance. Keep this guide handy for whenever you need a quick reminder.
