Green and blue lamps on your dashboard are information lamps. They confirm that something is switched on or that the car is ready to use, so they are not a sign of a fault.

This guide covers the Peugeot iOn I (2016-present), based on the handbook for vehicles produced from 1 August 2017. Some lamps depend on the version or equipment fitted to your car, so you may not see all of them.

  • Your car is ready to drive.
  • You can now press the accelerator.

Left-hand turn signal lights

Left turn signal indicator

This is the left-hand turn signal indicator lamp. It flashes with an audible signal when you move the lighting control stalk down.

What to do:

What to do:

  • Expect the left and right direction indicators, and their warning lamps on the dashboard, to flash at the same time.

Sidelamps and/or dipped beam headlamps

Dipped beam indicator

This is the sidelamps and dipped beam indicator lamp. It stays on steadily while your sidelamps, your dipped beam headlamps, or both are lit.

What to do:

  • No action is needed. The lamp simply confirms that your lights are on.

Front foglamps

Front fog lamp indicator

This is the front foglamps indicator lamp. It stays on when you have switched on the front foglamps using the ring on the lighting control stalk.

What to do:

  • To switch the front foglamps off, turn the ring on the lighting control stalk rearwards twice.

Main beam headlamps

Blue main beam indicator

This is the main beam indicator lamp. It stays on when you have pulled the lighting control stalk towards you to switch on main beam.

What to do:

  • To go back to dipped beam, pull the lighting control stalk towards you again.

If You're Not Sure

If a lamp on your dashboard does not match what you have just switched on, or you are not sure what it is telling you, check your vehicle handbook or ask a PEUGEOT dealer for advice.

Green and blue lamps on your Peugeot iOn are there to confirm what is switched on, so once you know them you can glance at the dashboard and carry on driving. For the lamps that need more attention, see our other warning light guides on peugeotguide.com.
