This orange lamp shows the water in diesel filter symbol on the instrument panel and is fitted depending on the country. When it comes on, you will hear an audible signal and see the message "Water in diesel fuel filter" on the multi-function display. There is a risk of damage to the injection system.
What to do:
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
Passenger air bag disarmed indicator light

This orange lamp shows the passenger air bag symbol on the instrument panel. If the passenger air bag is switched off, the lamp comes on when you switch the ignition on and stays on, and the message "Passenger air bag deactivated" appears on the multi-function display. If the lamp flashes, something is wrong.
What to do:
If the lamp stays on steadily:
- This confirms that the passenger air bag is switched off.
If the lamp flashes:
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Air bag warning light

This orange lamp shows the air bag symbol on the instrument panel. It comes on for a few seconds when you switch the ignition on. If it lights up while the engine is running, together with an audible signal and the message "Air bag fault" on the multi-function display, there is a fault in the front air bags, or in the side or curtain air bags.
What to do:
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Low fuel level warning light

This orange lamp shows the fuel pump symbol on the instrument panel. It comes on for 3 seconds when you switch the ignition on. If it lights up steadily while the engine is running, you will hear an audible signal and see the message "Fuel level low" on the multi-function display. If it flashes, the fuel gauge has a fault.
What to do:
If the lamp comes on steadily with the "Fuel level low" message:
- You have enough fuel left for approximately 30 miles (50 km).
- Fill up soon. The tank holds approximately 60 litres.
If the lamp flashes:
- The fuel gauge needle drops to its rest position, below zero, so it will not show your fuel level.
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
If You're Not Sure
If you are not sure which lamp you are seeing, read the message on the multi-function display, as most of these lamps come with one. If you are still unsure, stop somewhere safe, check your handbook and contact a PEUGEOT dealer for advice.
Orange lamps rarely mean you must stop straight away, but they should not be ignored. Note any message on the display and act on it, so a small problem does not turn into a bigger one.
