Peugeot 306 I Indicators: Red Warnings (2002)
Red warning lamps on your Peugeot 306 cover the most serious messages your car can give you. Several of them tell you to stop, so it pays to know what each one means before you need it.
Orange warning lights on the Peugeot 306 explained: engine fault, low fuel, water in diesel, pre-heat, air bags, brake pads and ABS, with what to do.
Orange warning lights on your Peugeot 306 are there to tell you about a fault that needs attention, or to give you useful information about the car. Most of them do not mean you have to stop straight away, but you should not ignore them.
This guide covers the first-generation Peugeot 306, based on handbook edition ed02-01 for vehicles produced from 1 January 2002. Some of these lights depend on the specification, model or country of your car, so yours may not have all of them.
