Peugeot 108 I Indicators: Red Warnings (2015-present)

What each red warning light on the Peugeot 108 (2015-present) means, from STOP and oil pressure to airbags and braking, and what you should do next.

Red warning lamps on your Peugeot 108 tell you about a malfunction or show the status of a system. If one comes on while the engine is running or you are driving, it points to a fault that needs looking into. Check any message on the screen and the description of that lamp below. Some red lamps come on for a few seconds when you switch the ignition on and should go out as soon as the engine starts. That is normal.

This guide covers the first-generation Peugeot 108 (2015-present) and is based on handbook edition ed01-18, which applies to cars produced from 2 May 2018. Some lamps flash as well as staying on, some come with a warning sound or a screen message, and some depend on your car's version or equipment, so not every lamp here will appear on your car.

What to do:

  • No action is needed, this simply confirms the rear foglamp is on.

If You're Not Sure

If a red lamp comes on and you are not sure what it means, stay calm, stop somewhere safe and check any message shown on the screen alongside the lamp. If you still have doubts, contact a qualified professional for help rather than carrying on with your journey.

Most red lamps on your Peugeot 108 are either a quick reminder, like a seat belt or open door, or a sign that something needs attention straight away. Knowing which is which helps you react calmly and keep your car in good shape.
