This is the DSC/TRC symbol, shown in orange. It can flash or stay on steadily, and the two have very different meanings.
What to do:
If the lamp is flashing, the DSC/TRC system is working to help you:
- No action is needed. The system is improving traction and helping keep the car stable and on course.
If the lamp stays on steadily, the DSC/TRC system has a fault:
- Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Emission control system

This is the emission control symbol, shown in orange. When it stays on steadily, the emission control system has a fault.
What to do:
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop without delay.
Low fuel level

This is the fuel pump symbol, shown in orange. When it first comes on, there are approximately 5 litres of fuel left in the tank, which holds approximately 35 litres in total. It will come on every time you switch on the ignition until you add enough fuel.
What to do:
- Refuel as soon as possible so you do not run out.
- Never keep driving until the tank is empty, as this could damage the emission control and injection systems.
Under-inflation

This is the tyre pressure symbol, shown in orange. When it stays on steadily, the pressure in one or more of your tyres is too low.
What to do:
- Check your tyre pressures as soon as possible, ideally when the tyres are cold.
- Reset the system after adjusting any tyre pressure or changing a wheel.
- See the under-inflation detection section of your handbook for how to do this.
Stop & Start (e-VTi 68 engine)
This is the Stop & Start symbol, shown in orange. When it flashes, the Stop & Start system has a fault.
What to do:
- Have the Stop & Start system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Speed limiter

The handbook shows two speed limiter symbols for this lamp, both in orange. When the lamp stays on steadily, the speed limiter has a fault.
What to do:
- Have the speed limiter checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Keyless Entry and Starting system

This is the electronic key symbol, shown in orange. When it flashes and you hear an audible signal, the battery in your electronic key is flat.
What to do:
- Replace the battery in the electronic key.
- See the electronic key section of your handbook for how to do this.
If You're Not Sure
If a lamp comes on and you are not sure what it means, check whether it is steady or flashing and what the car is doing at the time, as that tells you whether things are normal or there is a fault. If you are still unsure, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Most orange lamps on the Peugeot 108 are either a reminder of something you have switched off or a sign that a system needs checking soon. Knowing which is which helps you deal with them calmly and keep your car in good shape.
