This is the engine self-diagnostic lamp. When it stays on, a fault has been found with the engine or the EOBD emissions control system. EOBD (European On Board Diagnosis) monitors emissions such as carbon monoxide, unburnt hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides and particles.
What to do:
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop quickly.
Tyre under-inflation detection

This is the tyre under-inflation lamp. If it stays on by itself, a tyre is deflated or punctured. If it stays on together with a second symbol, a sensor is faulty.
What to do:
If the tyre lamp stays on by itself:
- Stop as soon as it is safe to do so and switch off the ignition.
- Change the wheel or repair the tyre.
If the tyre lamp stays on together with the second symbol:
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Lane departure warning system

These are the lane departure warning lamps. If a lane symbol flashes with a warning sound, the system has detected that you are drifting across a line on the left or right without meaning to. If the fault symbol stays on with a warning sound, the system is faulty.
What to do:
If a lane symbol is flashing:
- Steer the other way to bring the van back on course.
If the fault symbol stays on:
- Clean the windscreen.
- If the problem continues, visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Electronic immobiliser

This is the electronic immobiliser lamp. If it stays on, the key you have inserted is not recognised and the engine cannot start. If it comes on for about 10 seconds when you switch the ignition on, the alarm has been triggered.
What to do:
If the lamp stays on:
- Use a different key.
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop to have the faulty key checked.
If the lamp comes on for about 10 seconds at ignition:
- Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop to have the locks checked.
Water in Diesel fuel filter (Diesel)

This is the water in Diesel filter lamp. When it stays on, there is water in the Diesel filter, which risks damaging the injection system.
What to do:
- Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop without delay.
AdBlue

This is the AdBlue lamp. It stays on and then starts flashing with a message in the display, telling you the remaining AdBlue driving range is going down.
What to do:
- Top up the AdBlue quickly.
Diesel pre-heater

This is the Diesel pre-heater lamp. When it stays on, the weather conditions mean the engine needs pre-heating before it starts.
What to do:
- Wait until the lamp goes off before you start the engine.
Rear foglamps

This is the rear foglamp indicator. When it stays on, the rear foglamp button on the MODE control panel is switched on. The rear foglamps only work when the dipped beam headlamps are on.
What to do:
- Switch the rear foglamps off when visibility is normal.
If You're Not Sure
If you are not sure what a lamp means, check whether it is steady or flashing and read any message shown in the instrument panel. If a lamp stays on and you are still unsure, stop somewhere safe and contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop for advice.
Orange lamps are not usually an emergency, but they should not be ignored. Acting on them promptly helps keep your Peugeot Boxer safe and running well. For details on any system, check the relevant section of your handbook.
