This is the main beam headlamps symbol. It stays on steadily when you have pulled the lighting stalk towards you to switch on main beam.
What to do:
- To go back to dipped beam headlamps, pull the lighting stalk towards you again.
Front foglamps

This is the front foglamps symbol. It stays on steadily when you have switched on the front foglamps using the ring on the lighting control stalk.
What to do:
- To switch off the front foglamps, turn the ring on the lighting control stalk backwards twice.
Parking space sensors

This is the parking space sensors symbol. It can come on in two ways: steadily when the parking space sensors function is active, or flashing while the system is measuring a space.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- The function is active.
- To switch it off, press the parking space sensors button.
If the lamp is flashing:
- Wait while the system measures the space.
- Once the measurement is done, the lamp stays on steadily again.
Stop & Start

This is the Stop & Start symbol. It stays on steadily when the Stop & Start system has put the engine into STOP mode because the car has stopped, for example at red lights or in a traffic jam. If it flashes for a few seconds and then goes off, either STOP mode is temporarily unavailable or START mode has been triggered automatically.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- No action is needed. As soon as you want to move off, the lamp goes off and the engine restarts automatically in START mode.
If the lamp flashes for a few seconds, then goes off:
- For more details, see the Stop & Start section of your handbook.
Directional headlamps

This is the directional headlamps symbol. If it flashes, the directional headlamps system has a fault.
What to do:
- Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If You're Not Sure
If a lamp comes on and you are not sure what it means, check how it is lit (steady or flashing) and what the car is doing at the time, then look for any message on the multifunction screen. If you are still unsure, check your handbook or ask a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Most green and blue lamps on your Peugeot 5008 I simply confirm that a system is doing its job, so there is usually nothing to worry about. Knowing what each one means helps you spot the rare case, like a flashing directional headlamps lamp, that needs a check.
