Parking space sensors

This lamp shows the parking space sensors symbol and can light up in two ways.
If it stays on steadily, the parking space sensors function is active.
If it flashes, the system is measuring a parking space.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- Press the parking space sensors button if you want to switch the function off.
If the lamp is flashing:
- You do not need to do anything. Once the system has finished measuring, the lamp goes back to being on steadily.
Stop & Start

This lamp shows the Stop & Start symbol and can light up in two ways.
If it stays on steadily, the Stop & Start system has put the engine into STOP mode because the car has stopped, for example at red lights or in a traffic jam.
If it flashes for a few seconds and then goes off, either STOP mode is temporarily unavailable or START mode has been triggered automatically.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- You do not need to do anything. As soon as you want to move off, the lamp goes off and the engine restarts automatically in START mode.
If the lamp flashes and then goes off:
- See the "Stop & Start" section of your handbook for more information on special cases with STOP mode and START mode.
Directional headlamps

This lamp shows the directional headlamps symbol. If it flashes, the directional headlamps system has a fault.
What to do:
- Have the directional headlamps system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If You're Not Sure
Some lamps come on for a few seconds when you switch on the ignition and should go off once the engine has started. If a lamp stays on, check its section in this guide or in your handbook before you move off. A lamp may also come with a buzzer or a message on the multifunction screen, so it is worth reading that message too.
Most green and blue lamps on your Peugeot 5008 simply confirm that a system is doing what you asked. If you know what each one means, you can tell at a glance whether everything is normal or whether something needs your attention.
