This lamp shows a headlamp symbol with straight beams.
It stays on steadily when you have pulled the lighting stalk towards you, confirming that your main beam is on.
What to do:
- To go back to dipped beam, pull the lighting stalk towards you again.
Front foglamps

This lamp shows the front foglamps symbol.
It stays on steadily when you have switched the front foglamps on using the ring on the lighting control stalk.
What to do:
- To switch the front foglamps off, turn the ring on the lighting control stalk backwards twice.
Parking space sensors

This lamp shows the parking space sensors symbol.
When it stays on steadily, the parking space sensors function is active. When it flashes, the system is measuring the space.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- The function is active and ready to use.
- To switch it off, press the corresponding button.
If the lamp is flashing:
- The system is measuring the space, so let it finish.
- Once the measurement is complete, the lamp stays on steadily again.
Stop & Start

This lamp shows the Stop & Start symbol.
When it stays on steadily, the Stop & Start system has put the engine into STOP mode because the car has stopped, for example at red lights or in a traffic jam. When it flashes for a few seconds and then goes off, either STOP mode is temporarily unavailable or START mode has been triggered automatically.
What to do:
If the lamp is on steadily:
- Nothing, this is normal when the car is stopped.
- As soon as you want to move off, the lamp goes off and the engine restarts automatically in START mode.
If the lamp flashes for a few seconds and then goes off:
- Nothing needs to be done straight away.
- For more on how Stop & Start works, see the Stop & Start section of your handbook.
Directional headlamps

This lamp shows the directional headlamps symbol.
If it flashes, the directional headlamps system has a fault.
What to do:
- Have the directional headlamps system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
If You're Not Sure
Some lamps come on for a few seconds when you switch on the ignition and should go off once the engine has started. If a lamp stays on or behaves in a way you do not recognise, check whether it is steady or flashing, look for any message on the multifunction screen, and refer to your handbook before you move off. If in doubt, ask a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Most green and blue lamps on your Peugeot 3008 simply confirm that something you have switched on is working. Knowing what each one means helps you spot the rare occasion when a flashing lamp is telling you something needs attention.
