Peugeot 207 I Indicators: Red Warnings (2005-present)

What each red warning lamp on the Peugeot 207 I means and what to do, from STOP and oil pressure to seat belts, for cars built from March 2011.

Red warning lamps on your instrument panel tell you that a fault has occurred or that something needs your attention straight away. Some come on for a few seconds when you switch on the ignition and should go off once the engine starts. If one stays on, check what it means before you move off.

This guide covers the first-generation Peugeot 207 (2005-present), based on handbook edition ed01-11 for vehicles produced from 01/03/2011. Some lamps depend on the version or equipment of your car, so not every lamp here may appear on yours.

If You're Not Sure

If a red lamp comes on and you are not sure what it means, stay calm and stop somewhere safe when you can. Check the handbook section for that lamp, and if the handbook tells you to, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Red lamps are your Peugeot 207's way of telling you something needs attention now. Knowing what each one means helps you react calmly and keep yourself and your passengers safe.
