This is the orange emission control system symbol. If it stays on or flashes, a fault has been detected with the system. It should go off a few seconds after you start the engine.
What to do:
- If the lamp does not go off a few seconds after starting, or comes on or flashes while driving, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
ABS

This is the orange ABS symbol. It comes on steadily, together with a message on the instrument panel screen, if a fault occurs with the anti-lock braking system. Your car still has conventional braking, but without the anti-lock assistance.
What to do:
- Stop as soon as you can do so safely, as you are advised not to carry on driving.
- Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Dynamic stability control system (ASC)

This is the orange ASC symbol. It comes on steadily, together with a message on the instrument panel screen, if a fault occurs with the dynamic stability control system.
What to do:
- Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop without delay.
If You're Not Sure
If you are not sure which lamp is on or what it means, read the message on the instrument panel screen, check your handbook and, if in doubt, stop somewhere safe and contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop for advice.
